Vegan Buffalo Cauliflower Wings
Ingredients:
- 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of almond milk
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/2 cup of hot sauce
- 2 tablespoons of vegan butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425Β°F (220Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, almond milk, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated, and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the cauliflower in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the hot sauce, melted vegan butter, and maple syrup.
- Once the cauliflower is cooked, remove it from the oven and transfer it to a mixing bowl.
- Pour the buffalo sauce over the cauliflower and toss until each floret is evenly coated.
- Return the coated cauliflower to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Serve hot with a side of vegan ranch or blue cheese dressing.
