Classic Vegan Burger

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup cooked quinoa
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, pickles, and vegan cheese for toppings

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mash the black beans with a fork or potato masher.
  2. Add in the cooked quinoa, diced onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, nutritional yeast, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
